The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Vice President, Academic Affairs/Provost (VPAA//Provost) and day to day operations of the Academic Affairs office.

EMS Instructor

The purpose of this position is to assist Mercy College in fulfilling its mission by facilitating student acquisition of the required knowledge, attitudes, and skills, necessary for success in the student's chosen career in health sciences.


Facilities

Custodian

The purpose of this position is to provide a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties for the College, ensuring buildings and grounds present a professional image.


Finanical Aid

Finanical Aid Coordinator

The purpose of this position is to assist in the preparation of reports, reconciling program award information, and administering federal, state, and private financial aid programs.


Student Sucess

Academic Advisor

The purpose of this position is to provide academic advising to students exploring programs of study and facilitate career development.

Assistant Professor

The purpose of this position is to assist the College in fulfilling its mission by facilitating student acquisition of the required knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary for success in the student's chosen career in health sciences. 

Assistant Professor (Iowa City)

The purpose of this position is to assist the College in fulfilling its mission by facilitating student acquisition of the required knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary for success in the student's chosen career in health sciences. 

Associate Dean of Nursing

The purpose of this position is to provide academic oversight for the Graduate and/or ASN, BSN, RN to BSN and ABSN academic programs.

Academic Evaluator

The purpose of this position is to provide accurate and timely evaluations of transfer coursework for both prospective and current students.

EMS/Mercy College Training Center

ACLS Instructor 

The Mercy College Training Center is seeking candidates to serve as ACLS instructors.

Adjunct Paramedic Instructor

The purpose of this position is to assist Mercy College in fulfilling its mission by facilitating student acquisition of the required knowledge, attitudes, and skills, necessary for success in the student's chosen career in health sciences.

EMT Skills Evaluator

The purpose of this position is to evaluate the skills of students in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Programs.

EMT Skills Instructor 

The purpose of this position is to oversee and guide students in their learning of skills required to be an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Paramedic Skills Evaluator

The purpose of this position is to evaluate the skills of students in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Programs.

Paramedic Skills Instructor

The purpose of this position is to oversee and guide students in their learning of skills required to be Paramedic.

Skills Camp Proctor

The purpose of this position is to assist the College in fulfilling its mission by facilitating student acquisition of the required knowledge, attitudes, and skills, necessary for success in the student's chosen career in health sciences.

Test Proctor

The purpose of this position is to provide test proctoring services for the College.


Financial Aid

Work Study

Provides administrative support to staff in various areas. May include office or clerical duties involving answering the telephone, data entry, filing and other clerical tasks of a diverse nature.  May be working in Student Services, the Library, off campus for Community Service, or other areas as needs arise.


Library

Library Assistant

The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to Library staff in performing essential library operations.

The purpose of this position is to assist Mercy College of Health Sciences’ students with specialized instruction in their areas of expertise. Immediate needs include APA Writing, dosage calculation, ASN, BSN, and ABSN course specific tutors.
